Hi, my name is Christina Midollo and I'm the founder and designer of MODELLI DI RUOLO [ former brand name known as KARL BREIZNER / ESTATES ].

Modelli di Ruolo means "Role Models" in Italian.

MODELLI is a New York-based 1980's-inspired RTW Luxury Fashion Lifestyle Brand that I started in 2017. The collection officially launched in August 2021 with the curated capsule of unique men's and women's soft pastel colorblocked long-sleeve polos: THE 1980'S POLO. (The collection/brand launch was delayed from 2017 until 2021 due to some start-up obstacles that I faced).

I grew up around classic and old-school cars, which inspire a lot my designs. The inspiration for my designs also come from architecture and scenic greenery in The Hamptons, upstate New York/the country, sports, sarcasm, and this nostalgic dream of what I think the 1980's were like in combination of modern relaxed-luxury and streetwear style.

I love tying the past to the present. I call it modern nostalgia.

My mission is to tell a story through my favorite nostalgic elements from fantasy and imagination & create a community that is like-minded in fashion and art.

MODELLI STUDIOS is OPEN. An "Exclusive" Appointment Only art gallery-style private showroom that is located in Williamsburg/Brooklyn, New York.
